Questions
Does this replace NABCEP certification or an electrical license?
No. Solar installation is licensed electrical work in most places, and NABCEP is a separate certification. These courses support your training program and do not certify anyone.
Does it follow the NEC?
It teaches general good practice and points to the code and the manufacturer's instructions. Code editions and utility rules vary, so edit the lessons and have a licensed electrician review them.
Does it cover battery storage?
Only the basics. Battery systems vary by manufacturer and must be installed to their instructions, so add your own procedures for the products you install.
